Sports in School!
Hockey Team Visit
Members from Clonakilty Hockey Club visited St. Joseph's along with trophies that they won during the year.
Some of the players are past pupils of the school.
Lisa Kemp explained the game of hockey to the girls and told the girls all about their successes over the last few months.
I think we have some budding hockey players amongst our pupils after this visit!

Unfortunately, it was not our day and we had to give way to a stronger Skibb side.
Our girls put on a great display of football, full of skill and determination.

Sports Day 2023
We held our annual Sports Day on Tuesday 6th June in the astro turf. Our thanks to Clonakilty Sports Complex for their continued support to us in St. Joseph's...it is such a great facility to have on our doorstep.
We began the day with sprints, followed by fun circuits and finished off with very competitive relays.
Refreshments in the form of ice cream were well needed as it was so hot! Thank you to our wonderful Parent's Association for funding these.
A big thank you to Múinteoir Eileen for organising this wonderful day for the school.
