ICT in School

LegoWeDo Kits have arrived

We are having great fun this week using the LegoWeDo kits that we have borrowed from West Cork Education Centre. Classes from 3rd - 6th will get a chance to explore and create their own robotic vehicle and using an iPad they can programme this to do various things. Our Junior Classes can look forward to using BeeBots in May. These kits are a fun way to introduce children to coding and robotics.

Scratch Coding Club

Coding Club comes to an end for 4th class.... but take a look at what the girls created....

This is an example of what the girls created in Coding Club.... move the bowl with you keybaord arrows and see how many apples you can collect.... red apple = 1 point and yellow apple = 2 points. A huge thank you to Wendy Cullinane for all her help in mentoring us throughout the 8 weeks. Well done girls.
Ping Pong game... stop the ball from landing on the red line...
