What is the Creative Schools Initiative all about?

We applied to take part in this initiative during the summer and we were very proud to be chosen as one of 150 schools selected to take part in this two year programme. This programme is led by the Arts Council in partnership with the Department of Education & Skills and the Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht. The very generous funding will enable us to develop and enhance the creative abilites of all our students while also linking in with local organisations, artists and individuals involved in the arts in our area. To help us to plan and organise this endeavour we have been assigned a Creative Associate who will work with us in developing and implementing our projects.

Who is our Creative Schools Associate?
