Nurture Room
A calm space in the school

The Nurture Room is a calm, comfortable space where pupils can take a break, settle their feelings and get ready to learn. Pupils spend time there in small groups or on their own with a member of staff, building confidence, friendships and social and emotional skills.
It is part of our wider approach to wellbeing, along with Circle Time, worry boxes, Playground Buddies and programmes such as Zippy’s Friends and Friends for Life.
