Learning Support

Our team of special education teachers supports pupils who need extra help with their learning, whether with reading, writing, maths or another area. Support can take place in the classroom alongside the class teacher, in small groups or one to one, depending on what suits each pupil.

We follow the Department of Education’s Continuum of Support, so the help each pupil receives is matched to their needs and reviewed regularly with their teachers and parents. Where needed, we also work with outside services such as the National Educational Psychological Service (NEPS) and the HSE.
